Prospective Students

This is SchEMS

School of Environmental Management and Sustainable Development (SchEMS) is affiliated to a chartered university - Pokhara University, which has been rapidly expanding and producing high quality graduates since last couple of years. The team that founded this school includes academicians and professional experts of national and international recognition with broad representation from multidisciplinary backgrounds.

SchEMS is an institution of its own kind with the following specialties:

Environmental Management Programs

SchEMS's Environmental Management programs mainly focuses on producing skilled human resource in Environmental Management. A highly competitive, multi-disciplinary course taught by faculty members of national and international reputation ensures that students have an excellent background to tackle contemporary environmental problems of any dimensions.

Currently, we are running undergraduate (B.Sc.) and graduate (M.Sc.) courses on Environmental Management and Sustainable Development.



Eligibility
M.Sc. in Environmental Management
-Bachelor's degree in technical fields
B.Sc. in Environmental Management
-Intermediate or equivalent in technical subjects


Course Outline

The B.Sc. Environmental Management is a four academic years (eight semesters) program covering a total of 120 credit hours. The academic year begins in the month of september each year. For course outline Click here

M.Sc. in Environmental Management is a 60 credit Hours, four semester course to be completed within the period of two academic years. For course outline Click here



Fee Structure

SchEMS's fee structure is inexpensive for both undergraduate and graduate courses.



Financial Assistance

Students are also awarded with financial assistance by SchEMS itself and also by various other national and international agencies and international universities. Click here for more information.
