Students of M.Sc. (II nd Semester, Batch 2005) visited Sisdol Sanitary Landfill, Okharpauwa, Nuwakot on June 13, 2006 as a part field study of the course: Pollution Control Technologies (PCT 102.3). The aim of the visit was to know about the solid waste management. Mr. Ashok Ratna Tuladhar was the faculty member to conduct the visit. He delivered a brief lecture on the process of solid waste management, background of Sisdol Sanitary Landfill Site and technical and environmental aspect of the landfill site. Staffs of Sisdol Landfill Site also helped students to know about the operation process of the site.
